Robert W. Grimes, 67 of Melbourne, FL died Monday Sept 1, 2003 at Holmes Regional Medical Center. He was born in Crawfordsville IN on Oct 1, 1935 to Gale Davis Grimes and Laura Annabell Raney and moved to Melbourne from Louisville in 1998. He was a member of Suntree United Methodist Church and choir, attending Indiana University where he was a member of the Singing Hoosiers and a US Army veteran. He retired as a coordinating producer and consultant for television and media. He is survived by his daughters, Lee Ann Randall of Carmel, IN and Jennifer Byrd of Louisville; fiancée, Marilyn Shulman, Indialantic, FL; four grandchildren and brother, Larry Grimes of Crawfordsville, IN. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday Sept 5, 2003 at Suntree United Methodist Church. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Health First Hospice House, 1900 Dairy Rd, Melbourne, FL 32901.
